Main responsibilities

Review and gather the necessary data on procurement Analyse main sustainability issues across categories Create a supply chain mapping methodology to identify where risks may rise across a specific product/services supply chainDevelop a checklist that could be used as a guide to assess suppliers progress on sustainable development.

What did I enjoy about my placement/internship?

Friendly colleagues & supervisors, and the whole project was aboutsustainability

Challenging aspects

Working remotely from home with the current global situation. I also had a lotof information to take in and processing that data/information was challenging

Did you use any skills learned from your course?

Critical thinking, research & analysis, communication (writing professional reports) technical skills

Has your time on placement influenced your future career choice?

It definitely has, I really want my career to go towards sustainability. This was an important role for my career development
