What University of Sheffield graduates do after graduation
From this screen you can access information about what recent graduates were doing six months after graduation. This information will help you gain an overview of the range of options open to you; you will be able to see the proportions of graduates who found employment (including job titles and employers) or who undertook a further course of study. However, it is important to bear in mind that this data only shows initial career paths and cannot be taken as an indication of longer-term career prospects. This is particularly the case for non-vocational subjects where it is often the case that some graduates will take longer than six months to find their first graduate job.
Destinations data is collected from all recent graduates who are invited to participate in the national Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) Survey. The information we collect is combined with results from all other UK higher education institutions and published annually. Data from the survey is also used in the compilation of university league tables. More information about the survey can be viewed on the Higher Education Statistics Agency website.
Use the selection boxes below to view the latest destinations information. Please note that data is not available for courses where six or fewer survey responses were received.
Attention all Finalists...
The Destination of Leavers from Higher Education survey is conducted every year and you will receive a questionnaire approximately six months after you complete your course. We are required achieve an 80% response rate so it is very helpful if we have accurate contact details for you. Please check that the University has your correct contact details before you leave (postal and email addresses and telephone numbers).
